The Preparatory Ballet & Tap class is suitable for little dancers beginning their journey! The classes are imagination-based, using fun stories, props, illustrations and music specifically arranged for pre-school age children. The class is split into 30 minutes of Ballet then 15 minutes of Tap. Classes work on a combination of technical steps along with free movement to develop co-ordination, good posture, strength and suppleness. Children will learn to dance one at a time, waiting in turn, spatial awareness, and musical appreciation. Ballet & Tap also encourages self-discipline, musicality, self expression and listening skills.

This is the perfect stepping stone before starting Pre-Primary Ballet/Tap from 5 years.
Parents are encouraged to allow their little dancer to take part in the class all by themselves.
